Does the blood pressure monitor allow you to print out your readings? No, the readings cannot be printed out from the device; however, it stores up to 250 readings per user for easy tracking.

Will the blood pressure cuff fit a person with very large arms? The adult-sized cuff can accommodate arm sizes between 8.75” to 16.5”.

Can I use the blood pressure monitor alone, or will I need help? The blood pressure cuff can be easily secured on the arm, allowing for accurate self-measured.

Is the arm cuff automatic, or will I have to pump it? The blood pressure cuff automatically inflates; no manual pumping is necessary.

Are there any indicators to tell me whether my blood pressure is normal or high? Yes! Along the left-hand side of the screen, there are four color-coded areas indicating normal and prehypertension, high blood pressure or hypertension stage 1, hypertension stage 2, and hypertensive crisis blood pressure levels.

How do I set up my blood pressure monitor?

Is this a Bluetooth blood pressure monitor? No, it’s not Bluetooth-compatible, but it is a portable blood pressure monitor, making it perfect for travel or storage.

Does this blood pressure monitor measure from the wrist or from the bicep? This is an upper arm blood pressure monitor and will measure from your bicep. Wrist monitors are known to need to be more accurate.

How do I switch between users?

How do I retrieve averages of readings taken? The blood pressure monitor can show the average value of the latest three records for the selected user. To retrieve the average, first, make sure the device is powered off, then press the MEM (“M”) button, and the average will display. Remember to have the desired user selected.

Does this monitor for an irregular heartbeat? Yes. If the device measures your heartbeat as irregular, it will alert you on screen with the reading.

Is this blood pressure monitor rechargeable? It uses 4 AAA batteries (included) and can be connected to a 6V 1A AC adapter (sold separately).

How do I change the unit of measure on my blood pressure monitor?

Can this blood pressure monitor be used on children? Our cuff size ranges from 22 – 32cm. This standard cuff size can accommodate a small to large-sized adult. The recommended cuff size for a child ranges from 12 – 18cm. A cuff size too large can underestimate a blood pressure reading.

What does Systolic and Diastolic mean? Systolic is the top number in your blood pressure reading and is the larger number. This number indicates the measure of pressure in the arteries when the heart beats or contracts. Diastolic is the bottom and smaller number in your blood pressure reading. This number indicates the pressure in the arteries between heartbeats or when the heart muscle rests between beats and refills with blood.

What do Prehypertension, Hypertension Stage 1, Hypertension Stage 2, and Hypertensive Crisis mean? Prehypertension is a warning that you may develop high blood pressure in the future. Hypertension Stage 1 is high blood pressure; typically, diuretic medication is recommended. Hypertension Stage 2 is high blood pressure that requires a change in lifestyle habits along with prescribed medications. A hypertensive Crisis is a very high and severe increase in blood pressure that may lead to a stroke. This is usually broken down between Urgent and Emergency. Urgent means no damage has been done to your organs. Emergency means damage has been done to organs, and the risk for life-threatening complications is high. A hypertensive crisis requires immediate medical attention.
